72-64b01. General fund money to finance litigation, prohibited.

72-64b01. General fund money to finance litigation,prohibited.(a) No school district shall expend, use or transfer anymoneys from the generalfund of the district for the purpose of engaging in or supporting in any mannerany litigation by theschool district or any person, association, corporation or other entity againstthe state of Kansas, thestate board of education, the state department of education, other state agencyor any state officer oremployee regarding the school district finance and quality performance act orany other lawconcerning school finance. No such moneys shall be paid, donated or otherwiseprovided to anyperson, association, corporation or other entity and used for the purpose ofany such litigation.
(b) Nothing in K.S.A. 72-6433 or this section, and amendments thereto, shallbe construedas prohibiting the expenditure, use or transfer of moneys from the supplementalgeneral fund for thepurposes specified in subsection (a).
