Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 75.--STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

      72-7505.   Abolition of office of state superintendent of publicinstruction; continuation of contracts.The office of state superintendent of public instruction is herebyabolished at 10:00 o'clock a.m. on January 14, 1969. Any contract,agreement or assurance entered into after the effective date of this act bythe state superintendent of public instruction shall be subject toamendment, termination or revocation by the state board established underthis act at any time after January 13, 1969, and unless so changed shallremain in full force and effect without necessity of ratification or anyother action by the state board of education.
