Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 75.--STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

      72-7507.   State board of education; meetings, regular, special,adjourned; offical actions at official meetings only.(a) The state board shall meet at least once each month. At some timeduring the month of January of each year the board shall adopt a resolutionspecifying a regular meeting time of the board and such resolution shallspecify the regular hour of commencement of the meeting, as well as the dayof the week and the week of the month. Such resolution shall also providethat if the regular meeting date occurs on a Sunday or on a legal holidayor on a holiday specified by the board, such regular meeting shall be heldon the following day commencing at the same hour. The state board mayprovide by resolution for (1) additional regular meetings, (2) specialmeetings, or (3) recessed or adjourned meetings.

      (b)   All official actions of the state board shall be taken at officialmeetings open to the public.
