Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 75.--STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

      72-7512.   Same; attorney; appointment and duties.The state board may sue in its own name, may be sued and may defend anyaction brought against it or against any of its members who are sued insituations relating to and arising out of the performance of their officialduties. The state board shall appoint an attorney to represent it or any ofits members in all litigations. The attorney for the state board shallattend all meetings of the state board and render such legal services asare directed by the state board or the commissioner.
