Gifts and bequests to state board or institutionsthereunder; supervision; expenditure; school districts and community-juniorcolleges excepted.(a) The state board of education, or any institution under thejurisdiction of the state board, with the approval thereof, mayapply for, accept and receive any privatedonation, gift,grant or bequest made for any purpose related to the operation or functionof such board or institution. Such board or institution may hold,administer and expend any such gift, grant or bequest in accordance withany terms or conditions imposed by the donor.
(b) The provisions of subsection (a) donot apply toany school district.
