Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 75.--STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

      72-7520.   Same; initial order; review by state board.Whenever a hearing officer appointed under authority ofK.S.A. 72-7519, and amendments thereto, hearsany appeal, case or other matter, the hearing officer,after hearing the same, shall render an initial order which shall besubject to review by the state board of education. Any matterdetermined by the state board of education in accordance with this sectionshall be valid to the same extent as if the matter were fully heard by thestate board of education without a hearing officer.
