72-7536. School district internet-based datareporting system.(a) The purpose of this section is to allow anyperson desiring to obtain, analyze andcompare financial and performance data of school districts the ability to doso.
(b) On or before December 31, 2005, the state board of education shalldesign andimplement a uniform system of reporting of such data by school districts. Suchsystem shall be aninternet-based data reporting system which is freely available and accessible.Such system shall allow a person to search and manipulate the data and allowfor the comparison of data on a districtby district basis. Such system may be designed so that school districts mayinput directly the district'sfinancial and performance data in lieu of reporting data to the state board.
