Task force; study feasibility of conductinga check of KBI registered offender internet site prior to permitting certainpersons on school grounds; report to the legislature.The Kansas board of education shall appoint a task forceto study thefeasibility of requiring allKansas school districts to adopt district policies mandating all schoolsconduct a check of theinternet site maintained by the Kansas bureau of investigation concerningregistered offendersprior to permitting any unescorted, noninstructional personnel, including butnot limited to, anyvendor or entityunder contract with the school board, to be on school grounds while studentsarepresent. The taskforce's study shall be completed and the task force shall submit a reportcontaining its findingsand recommendations to the Kansas board of education, the speaker of thehouse of representatives and thepresident of the senate on or before January 1, 2007.
