Article 80.--BOARDS OF EDUCATION-- CHANGE OF METHOD OF ELECTION

      72-8001.   Right to change voting plan or method of election; mandatory election.Any board may change the method of election or voting plan in its schooldistrict from that which it now or hereafter has to any combination ofmethod of election and voting plan provided for by this act, unlessprohibited by the conditions provided in this act. No such change shallbe made unless and until approved by a majority of the electors of the schooldistrict voting on the question at an election conducted by the county electionofficer as provided in K.S.A. 72-8007.
