      72-8246.   Employment incentive or retention bonusesfor teachers.(a) As used in this section:

      (1)   "Teacher" meansteachers,supervisors, principals, superintendents and any other professionalemployees who are required to hold a teacher's or school administrator'scertificate in any public school.

      (2)   "Board of education" means the board ofeducation of any public school district.

      (b)   The board of education may pay employment incentive or retention bonusesto teachers.
