      72-8253.   Compilation and report of expenditures;verification by department.(a) Each school district shall compile and reportexpenditures of thedistrict in providingprograms required by law and the number of pupils enrolled in such programs.Such information shallbe compiled and reported in the manner required by the department.

      (b)   The department shall verify, on an on-going basis, expendituresof school districts inproviding programs required by law and the number of pupils enrolled in suchprograms.Suchverification may be conducted on a sample-basis of school districts.
