Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 84.--PURCHASE OF INSURANCE

      72-8415b.   Same; transfers from general fundauthorized.(a) Any school district that elects tobecome a self-insurerunder the provisions of K.S.A. 72-8414, and amendments thereto, maytransfer moneys from its general fund to thespecial reserve fund of the district asprovided by K.S.A. 72-6428, and amendments thereto.

      (b)   Any community college that elects to become a self-insurerunder the provisions of K.S.A. 72-8414, and amendments thereto, maytransfer such amounts from its general fund to the health care servicesreserve fund or the disability income benefits reserve fund, or thegroup life benefit reserve fund, or all three,as may be deemed necessary to meet the cost of health care services ordisability income benefits, or group life insurance claims, whichever isapplicable.
