Chapter 73.--SOLDIERS, SAILORS AND PATRIOTIC EMBLEMS Article 2.--VETERANS' PREFERENCE

      73-203.   Ex-servicemen or their widows and orphans to be retainedin making reduction in employees.In making any reduction of force in any of the departments, cities ortowns of this state, the officers of such department, city or town shallretain those persons who may be equally qualified who have beenhonorably discharged from the military or naval service of the UnitedStates, and the widows and orphans of deceased soldiers and sailors.
