45.236 Child welfare appropriations not to lapse. Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 45.229 and notwithstanding any other provision
of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, any unexpended or unencumbered balance of any
Social Security appropriation, made available for expenditure by the Cabinet for Health
and Family Services in the administration of its child welfare functions for the first fiscal
year of each biennium, remaining at the end of that fiscal year, shall be carried forward
and be available for expenditure at any time during the ensuing fiscal year within the
biennium and no portion shall lapse to the general expenditure fund. Effective: June 20, 2005
