65.130 Local governments authorized to display historic religious and nonreligious
artifacts, monuments, symbols, and texts in public buildings and on public
property owned by the local governments.
Any city, county, charter county, urban-county government, consolidated local
government, or special district, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, may display
historic artifacts, monuments, symbols, and texts, including but not limited to religious
materials, in public buildings and on public property owned by that unit of government if
the display is consistent with the requirements of KRS 42.705.
