181.540 Owners to be relieved from obligations. Upon the execution of the contract, the present owners of the bridge or portion sold shall
be relieved from any duty imposed upon such owners by legislative enactment to
maintain or keep the bridge or portion open to the public. Effective: October 1, 1942
