Page 1 of 1 199.019 Exemption from "Code Adam" program for agency or building not visited by children -- Expiration of exemption The secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet, in consultation with the Justice
and Public Safety Cabinet through the Department of Kentucky State Police, may exempt
any agency or state building which, due to the nature of the services provided by that
agency or state building, is not visited by children. The agency or state building shall
immediately report to the secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet when the
agency or state building is likely to be visited by children on a frequent or continuing
basis. Upon receipt of the notification from the state building administrator or agency that
the state building is being visited by children, the exemption from compliance with the
provisions of KRS 199.013 to 199.019 shall expire. Effective: June 26, 2007
