Page 1 of 1 200.100 Cabinet to investigate status of children -- Report to Governor. (1) The cabinet shall make a survey of child welfare in the state and shall present to the Governor and Legislature, prior to each legislative session, a report of its findings
and recommendations based thereon. The cabinet shall prepare data upon the
subject and be ready at all times to advise the Governor or any member of the
General Assembly concerning bills, relating to children, introduced at any session
of the General Assembly. (2) The cabinet shall discover dependent, neglected, delinquent, and disabled children, and shall secure for them the benefits of law, and shall have general supervision and
control over the administration of mothers' aid. Effective: July 15, 1994.
