201.070 Condemnation of property. Whenever the board finds that property anywhere within the county is needed for any of
the purposes contemplated in this chapter, the board may, by resolution reciting such
need, order the condemnation of such property. Proceedings for condemnation shall be in
the Circuit Court of the county, and shall be conducted in the name of the board by the
city attorney of the city of the first class, who shall be the legal representative of the
board, and the procedure shall be that set out in the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky. Effective: June 19, 1976
