Page 1 of 1 211.870 Regulation of radiation sources. The Cabinet for Health and Family Services may promulgate administrative regulations
relating to operators of sources of radiation other than licensed practitioners of the healing
arts. The administrative regulations may include, but need not be limited to, the
classification and certification of operators; examinations; standards of training and
experience; curricula standards for institutions teaching persons to operate radiation
sources; issuance, renewal, and revocation of certificates; appeal of certificate denials or
revocations pursuant to KRS Chapter 13B; and other standards or regulations appropriate
for protection of health and safety. Effective: June 20, 2005
