Chapter 24: INSURANCE INFORMATION AND PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT HEADING: PL 1997, C. 677, §3 (NEW)
No cause of action in the nature of defamation, invasion of privacy or negligence arises against any person for disclosing personal information in accordance with this chapter, nor does such a cause of action arise against any person for furnishing personal information to a regulated insurance entity or insurance support organization.
