Section 7-401 - Supplementary proceedings.

§ 7-401. Supplementary proceedings.
 

(a)  In general.- For examination of a judgment debtor by a standing commissioner or examiner, the clerk of a court shall collect in advance from the plaintiff the following fees: 

(1) If a judgment or decree does not exceed $200 - $5; 

(2) If a judgment or decree exceeds $200, but does not exceed $1,000 - $10; 

(3) If a judgment or decree exceeds $1,000 - $15. 

(b)  Stenographic fees.- The plaintiff shall initially pay stenographic fees in supplementary proceedings. The fees shall be taxed as costs. 

(c)  Costs taxable to defendant.- All costs in supplementary proceedings shall be taxed to the defendant.
