§ 11-904. Purpose; federal funds; expenditures.
(a) Purpose.- Money appropriated to the Program shall be used:
(1) to protect victims and witnesses and the families of victims and witnesses;
(2) to relocate victims and witnesses to protect them or to facilitate their participation in court proceedings; and
(3) to pay the costs of carrying out the Program.
(b) Federal funds and programs.- To the extent possible, the Program shall be used to maximize the use of federal matching funds or programs.
(c) Expenditures.- Expenditures under this section shall be made in accordance with the State budget.
