This subsection is new language derived without substantive change from the first clause of former Art. 83A, § 4-608.

It is restated as the standard introductory language to a definition section.

(b)  Arts.- "Arts" includes dance, drama, music drama, architecture, painting, sculpture, graphics, crafts, photography, design, film, television, and creative writing.

Revisor's Note.

This subsection is new language derived without substantive change from the second clause of former Art. 83A, § 4-608.

The former phrase "but not be limited to" is deleted as unnecessary in light of Art. 1, § 30, which provides that the term "includes" is used "by way of illustration and not by way of limitation".

This subsection is new language added to avoid repetition of the full title of the "Maryland State Arts Council".
