§ 11-801. Maryland Digital Library.
 

(a)  Establishment.- There is a Maryland Digital Library in the Commission. 

(b)  Purpose.- The purpose of the Maryland Digital Library is to: 

(1) Strengthen the academic library cooperation in the State; and 

(2) Create fiscal efficiencies through enhanced cooperation among academic libraries. 

(c)  Composition.- The Maryland Digital Library consists of the academic libraries in public and private nonprofit institutions of postsecondary education that hold a certificate of approval from the Commission.
