Section 16-416 - Scholarships in Prince George's County. - Maryland Statutes

§ 16-416. Scholarships in Prince George's County.
 

(a)  Established.- There is a program of county scholarships for not more than 200 students at Prince George's Community College. 

(b)  Basis of award.- The county scholarships shall be awarded by the Community College on the basis of: 

(1) Academic merit; and 

(2) Financial need. 

(c)  Amount of award.- Each scholarship shall pay for tuition for 1 year. 

(d)  Funding.- Each year, the Prince George's County Executive shall include money for the county scholarships in the county budget.
