§ 7-1402. Establishment of virtual school.
 

(a)  In general.- Subject to the approval of the Department, a county board may establish a virtual school. 

(b)  Subject to federal and State laws and regulations.- A virtual school is subject to all applicable federal and State laws and regulations governing the operation of a public school. 

(c)  Eligibility.- A student who is eligible for enrollment in a public school in the State may enroll in a virtual school.
