§ 8-104. Guidance for county boards.
 

(a)  Standards established.- The State Board shall establish standards to guide county boards in applying for: 

(1) Any State funds that are provided in the State budget specifically for the purposes of this subtitle; and 

(2) Funds provided under the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. 

(b)  Applicability of standards.- These standards apply to the extent that they do not conflict with the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 or regulations adopted under that Act.
