§ 16-205. Interfering with election officials.
(a) In general.-
(1) A person may not interfere with an election official in the performance of the official duties of the election official.
(2) A person may not interfere with an individual lawfully present at a polling place or at the canvass of votes.
(b) Penalties.- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and is subject to a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not less than 3 months nor more than 1 year or both.
