§ 9-651. Consolidation of administrative matters of service areas.
 

(a)  Effect on bond obligation.- If consolidating administrative matters of service areas will not impair any bond obligation incurred by a district under this subtitle, the district may consolidate the administrative matters of service areas in accordance with this section. 

(b)  Action by district.- If the action promotes efficient operation of the service areas, a district may: 

(1) Consolidate the operational, engineering, and financial functions of service areas; 

(2) Allocate costs among service areas; and 

(3) If this subtitle does not commit the funds for a specific purpose, combine funds of service areas.
