§ 24-301. Safety requirements for eyeglass and sunglass lenses and frames.
 

(a)  Department to establish requirements.- The Department shall adopt rules and regulations that establish safety requirements for eyeglass and sunglass lenses and frames. 

(b)  Restrictions.- A person may not sell or dispense any eyeglasses or sunglasses that do not meet the safety requirements established by the Department. 

(c)  Penalty.- A person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
