§ 24-902. Program authorized.
 

(a)  In general.- An AIDS Prevention Sterile Needle and Syringe Exchange Program may be established in the Prince George's County Health Department, subject to the provisions of this subtitle. 

(b)  Purpose of Program.- If established under subsection (a) of this section, the Program shall: 

(1) Provide for the one-for-one exchange by participants of used hypodermic needles and syringes for sterile hypodermic needles and syringes; and 

(2) Operate in accordance with the procedures approved, with the advice of the advisory committee, by the local health officer for Prince George's County.
