Section 20-302 - Qualifications.

§ 20-302. Qualifications.
 

(a)  Required.- To qualify for a certificate as a program administrator, an applicant shall be an individual who meets the requirements of this section. 

(b)  Moral character.- The applicant shall be of good moral character. 

(c)  State criminal history records check.- The applicant shall have completed a State and national criminal history records check. 

(d)  Age.- The applicant shall be at least 21 years old. 

(e)  Education and experience.- The applicant shall have: 

(1) (i) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and 

(ii) At least 4 years experience in the human service field with at least 3 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or 

(2) (i) A master's degree from an accredited college or university; and 

(ii) At least 2 years experience in the human service field with at least 1 year in a supervisory or administrative capacity. 

(f)  Examination.- Except as otherwise provided in this title, the applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this subtitle.
