§ 10-105. Fund subject to Insurance Article.
 

(a)  In general; exceptions.- Except for Title 3, Subtitle 1, Title 6, Subtitle 1, Title 8, Subtitle 3, and Title 11 of the Insurance Article and as otherwise provided by law, the Fund is subject to the Insurance Article to the same extent as an authorized domestic workers' compensation insurer. 

(b)  Fund as administrator must register with Commissioner; subject to Title 8, Subtitle 3 of the Insurance Article.- Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, the Fund shall register with the Commissioner and be subject to the provisions of Title 8, Subtitle 3 of the Insurance Article if the Fund operates as an administrator, as defined in § 8-301 of the Insurance Article.
