§ 8-705. Registration of ground lease - By Department.
 

(a)  Conditions of registration.- The Department shall register a ground lease when the Department receives: 

(1) A registration form; and 

(2) The appropriate registration fee for each ground lease. 

(b)  Notice.-  

(1) If for any reason the Department is unable to register a ground lease for which a registration form and appropriate fee has been submitted, the Department shall notify the ground lease holder of that ground lease, within 30 days of processing the registration form, of any information needed by the Department so as to complete the registration. 

(2) The ground lease holder shall have up to 30 days to supply the needed information to the Department before any action may be taken under § 8-708 of this subtitle.
