Section 8-405 - Evaluation committees.

§ 8-405. Evaluation committees.
 

(a)  Required.- Evaluation of a governmental activity or unit shall be completed: 

(1) by an evaluation committee for the Senate, appointed by the President of the Senate, and an evaluation committee for the House of Delegates, appointed by the Speaker of the House; or 

(2) by an evaluation committee appointed jointly by the President and Speaker. 

(b)  Time limit.- Each evaluation committee for a governmental activity or unit shall be appointed on or before May 31 of the year before the evaluation date of that governmental activity or unit.
