§ 29-421. Scope of Part.
 

(a)  Application.- This section applies to an allowance of: 

(1) a retiree, former member, or surviving spouse of a member of the Employees' Retirement System or the Teachers' Retirement System who is subject to Selection C (Combination formula); or 

(2) a beneficiary of the retiree or former member described in item (1) of this subsection. 

(b)  Exceptions.- This section does not apply to: 

(1) benefits paid in a single payment; or 

(2) the return of accumulated contributions.
