Section 9-506 - Unused sick leave. - Maryland Statutes

§ 9-506. Unused sick leave.
 

(a)  Accumulation authorized.- An employee may accumulate unused sick leave and use as permitted by § 9-501(b) of this subtitle. 

(b)  Forfeiture on termination of employment.- Except as otherwise provided by law, an employee whose State employment terminates for any reason forfeits all unused sick leave.
