Section 5-417 - Acquisition of property by political subdivision.

§ 5-417. Acquisition of property by political subdivision.
 

(a)  In general.- A political subdivision may acquire, by purchase or, if unable to agree on terms, by condemnation, any property, including any air right or interest, need to establish or operate an airport, airport facility, or air navigation facility. 

(b)  Manner of condemnation.- Any condemnation of property under this section shall be under the law by which the political subdivision may condemn property for public purposes other than street purposes or, if it has no such law, under Title 12 of the Real Property Article.
