§ 8-643. Penalties.
 

(a)  In general.- If any railroad does not comply with an order of the Administration under this part to do work on a railroad grade crossing or railroad grade separation or to pay its share of the costs of any railroad grade crossing or railroad grade separation project or maintenance, the railroad is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $100 for each day that the order is not complied with. 

(b)  Penalty not exclusive.- The penalty provided for in this section is in addition to any other remedies available to the Administration.
