Section 10 Special examinations and reports on matters affecting management or finances - Massachusetts Statutes

Section 10. The commissioner may make a special examination of the management or finances of any department, officer, commission or undertaking which receives annual appropriations of money from the commonwealth, including annual appropriations to be met by assessments, and may report thereon from time to time to the governor and council and to the general court, if in session.
