Section 4O Deputy commissioner; appointment - Massachusetts Statutes

Section 4O. The commissioner of veterans’ services, with the approval of the secretary of administration and finance, shall appoint and may remove a deputy commissioner of veterans’ services who shall devote his full time during business hours to the duties of his office. Said deputy commissioner shall be subject to the direction and control of said commissioner. Said deputy commissioner, shall perform the duties of said commissioner during his absence on account of disability or other case.
