Section 15 Board of trustees; insurance coverage for participants in athletic programs - Massachusetts Statutes

[Text of section effective until Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District is certified by the commissioner as the successor agency to the Essex agricultural and technical high school and the North Shore Vocational Regional School, which shall occur by July 1, 2009. Section 15. The board of trustees may procure insurance to cover dismemberment or death and the reasonable hospital, medical and surgical expenses incurred by, or on behalf of, any student enrolled at a school as a result of injuries sustained while participating, practicing or training for participation in athletic or interscholastic sports program of the school.
