Section 49 Acceptance at city elections or town annual or special meetings; petitions - Massachusetts Statutes

  Section 49. Sections thirty-two to forty-seven, inclusive, shall take effect in a city if accepted by a majority vote of the city council, with the approval of the mayor where such approval is required by the charter of the city and in a town if accepted by a majority vote of the board of selectmen.
