Section 333.20122 - Advisory commission; terms of members; vacancy; removal.

333.20122 Advisory commission; terms of members; vacancy; removal.

Sec. 20122.

(1) A member of the advisory commission shall serve for a term of 4 years or until a successor is appointed, except that the terms of members first appointed shall be as provided by section 1214. A member shall not serve more than 2 full terms and 1 partial term, consecutive or otherwise.

(2) A vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as an original appointment for the balance of the unexpired term.

(3) The director may recommend to the governor the removal of a member from the advisory commission at any time for poor attendance at meetings or other good cause.
