338.886a Ordinance requiring application to and licensing by board.

Sec. 6a.

A municipality providing standards for electric wiring and making provisions for inspection and licensing in accordance with this act may require by ordinance that all electrical or specialty contractors, master electricians, fire alarm specialty technicians, sign specialists, and electrical journeymen coming within its licensing jurisdiction shall apply to and be licensed by the board in accordance with the rules and regulations of the board.
