476.1 Operation of motor vehicle by motor common carrier of property; certificate of authority.

Sec. 1.

A motor common carrier of property shall not operate any motor vehicle for the transportation of property for hire on any public highway in this state except in accordance with the provisions of this act. A motor common carrier of property shall not operate upon any public highway without first having obtained from the commission a certificate of authority.
