479.5 Certificates and permits; construction, transfer.

Sec. 5.

No certificate and no permit issued under the terms of this act shall be construed to be a franchise nor to be irrevocable, and no such certificate and no such permit shall be assigned or otherwise transferred without the approval of the commission: Provided, however, That upon the death or bankruptcy of any individual holding a currently valid certificate or permit, the commission shall authorize the transfer of said certificate or permit to the legal representative of such person upon due proof of such death or bankruptcy and upon due proof of the qualifications of such legal representative to act in such matter. Nothing contained herein shall abrogate the provisions of sections 10, 14 and 18 of this article, nor section 13 of article 2 of this act, nor section 11 of article 3 of this act.
