Cloning--use of state funds prohibited, definition.
1.217. No state funds shall be used for research with respect to thecloning of a human person. For purposes of this section, the term"cloning" means the replication of a human person by taking a cell withgenetic material and cultivating such cell through the egg, embryo, fetaland newborn stages of development into a new human person.
