8.241. 1. In addition to other provisions of law relatingto title to and conveyance of real property by the state, andnotwithstanding any provisions of chapter 8, RSMo, to thecontrary, if the state should ever purchase or otherwise acquireownership of real property located in a city not within a countyas described in subsection 2 of this section, the state shall:
(1) Use, operate and maintain such property in fullcompliance with all applicable deed restrictions encumbering theproperty;
(2) Operate, maintain and use the property exclusively bythe department of mental health for the purpose of housing nomore than six employed and employable mentally retarded ordevelopmentally disabled adults, and for no other purpose and byno other state agency, in whole or in part;
(3) Not sell or otherwise transfer ownership of theproperty, unless such property is sold or transferred solely forprivate, single-family residential use, which shall not be deemedto include, without limitation, any sale, transfer or conveyanceof ownership of the property to any other state agency ordepartment or program.
2. The property subject to the provisions of this section ismore particularly described as follows:
A parcel of real estate situated in Lot 20 in
Block A of Compton Heights and in Block No.
1365 of the City of St. Louis, fronting 100
feet 0-3/8 inches on the North line of
Longfellow Boulevard by a depth Northwardly
on the east line of a 160 square foot and 159
feet 5 inches on the West line to the North
line of said lot on which there is a frontage
of 100 feet bounded East by Compton Avenue
together with all improvements thereon, known
as and numbered 3205 Longfellow Boulevard.
